Sure, that could work. Either she has a rare blood type or he has to collect the juices of a number of different women, and she has one of the types he needs.

Anything would work for me. Since you play them both whatever works easiest for you just thought it'd be an interesting plot line to go thru, especially with an impending angry king that may want his betrothed back

Okay. So, I was thinking roughly about something kinda similar. It was more that they'd be going so that they can properly infuse her blood to his seed so that he would then be fertile again, that way they wouldn't need to use her blood every time they tried for children, him and someone other than Josie I mean. What I was thinking is that they go there to find someone who knows how this works better than Fey, probably a Druid, so that he or she can do what it is that needs to be done to make him fertile again.

In the meantime Fey might teach Josie how to use her blood as a source of magic, which might be a sneaky solution to the rib-break problem too, so that she can cast magic as a "wizard" would without having to provide material components where they're usually needed as the blood would substitute for it. Make sense?
